To deliver these services we provide a fully managed connectivity service ACTIV3g that addresses connectivity, security, managed firewall and Mobile VPNs. ACTIV3g  is a service that helps companies to give their users GPRS or 3G access easily and reliably. Essentially this option provides for an easier 'sleep easy' option than the free public internet service primarily designed for consumers with very different needs to business users where data is more mission critical.

Activator UK manages the setup of the service and ongoing maintenance with the highest level of support, including next business day replacement of the remote 3G router.  Deploying a cost effective business GPRS or 3G connectivity solution is not as easy as you might first think, the solutions you want to deploy can sometimes be very different and across multiple operating systems, types of device and networks.

The mobile network solution we are providing has met these challenges over the last six years and with thousands of different solutions now deployed. The service can use any of the major network service providers.  The big difference between the consumer and business services are as follows:

• Dedicated business gateway between the mobile network and the internet or private network (fully separated from consumer download or texting traffic)
• Option of fixed IP address to enable remote access to the managed 3G firewall/router or laptop
• No service filtering – no traffic type is blocked or slowed down (unlike consumer services)
• Expert service helpdesk to address any connectivity problems with the service or connected devices
